I will listen and look, help you make the connections and sentiment to produce a long lasting piece of jewellery and history to pass through the family.

Although I make traditionally, singly, slowly with my hands I prefer modern more unusual designs.
I am often thought of as a solutions orientated designer. My design will start with you and be inspired by your style and stories. I will thoughtfully and subtly incorporate your history and sentiment, often only obvious to you into your jewellery. With extra care and consideration it will evolve into the perfect piece and have a story of its own.

Jewellery Commissions

Your jewellery commission can be made with completely new precious metals and stones but when possible I do prefer to use gold that is already in the family, saving resources, money and holding sentiment. Old unworn, perhaps broken gold can either be cashed in and the money used to purchase new gold and often pay for my labour. Or it can be melted down and repurposed, redesigned which is especially meaningful if it is family or heritage gold. Often not worn because it’s not to your taste but what if it was remodelled and subtly told your story , a moment, a memory, gave you comfort, gave you joy, reminded you of that person. Then that has to be worthwhile.

A commission starts with you filling in the enquiry form below, then a consultation be it face to face, Zoom, email etc. I’m adaptable. The important point is to establish that we are right for each other. Then a 50% deposit with the remainder just before or as you get your piece of jewellery and as many consultations, photos etc as you require in between.

I do not do repairs on other people’s jewellery or copy other artist’s designs. I follow my heart and yours.

Wedding Ring Commissions

Wedding rings are my specialty. Made to last a lifetime, of quality and weight. To be thought about carefully and hold the meaning and sentiment they should. The most precious piece of jewellery you will ever buy.
I make them to exactly fit unusually shaped engagement ring. Quirky one off designs are available. They can be made from family old gold incorporating generations and linking families together giving a whole other meaning.
