A Bit More About Me…

Jewellery found me at my daughter’s night school class at age 48. Until then I was a plain Jayne who blended in and no one listened to, at least that’s how it felt. Jewellery changed my life completely, gave me confidence, I am natural at it. Through my experience I know that every single person has a brilliance to shine a torch on and I want to encourage them find it. I feel so strongly about this message and use it to inspire and spread love to everyone through their jewellery experience with me.

For once in my life I’m following my own dream instead of other peoples. It’s scary but it won’t stop me. I like being at home with my family therefore I have created my business around that and built a studio at home. Which means people come to me and I don’t have to spend time travelling around to fairs or exhibitions unless I choose too. My legacy is to produce quality meaningful, memorable pieces of jewellery that become part of your heritage forever. And to inspire people to have the confidence and have a go at anything they fancy, just do it and find their brilliance-we all have it. I promise.

All my pre jewellery life I ran a flooring business with my husband. Because of my background one day I would love to include wool or marmoleum into my designs, both being natural products. I started making jewellery in 2010, it opened up a whole new world I had never experienced, a place to just be me, no limits or boundaries. My own little world I could explore. I had natural ability, we all have it in some field or another. Over the years I have learnt many different skills, paying for top tutors in their field, I still do. You can never know too much and I love learning.

Since 2014 I have trained in the the Jewellery Quarter Birmingham in gold and silver. My studio is on the Cheshire, Shropshire, Welsh borders. Overlooking our field and lake which I love to share with you on workshops and consultations. I feel very lucky to have this environment to make my jewellery in and share with you.
